On a sunny Wednesday, June 22nd, the team from HEXNET had the pleasure of attending the 20th Annual Golf Outing hosted by the Jersey Shore Chamber of Commerce. The event took place at the picturesque Pine Barrens Golf Club in Jackson, NJ. This year, we were thrilled to have Pro Football Hall of Famer and NFL Alumni, Marshall Faulk, join us as a special guest.
Marshall Faulk, renowned for his dynamic career as a running back with the St. Louis Rams and his victory in Super Bowl XXXIV, is not only a football legend but also an enthusiastic golfer. His passion for the sport was highlighted in 2022 when he hosted the Celebrity Golf Championship, making him the perfect companion for our day on the greens.
Our collaboration with Marshall stems from our role as the global marketing partner for the NFL Alumni Association. Through this partnership, HEXNET CEO, David Franco, has worked with Marshall on several projects and grown close with Marshall, who was eager to participate in the outing.
The festivities began the day before the event when Marshall visited visited the HEXNET office in Manasquan, followed by a boat ride on the Jersey Shore with Dave Turton from Dianne Turton Realtors to discuss another one of Marshall’s many enterprises with Virtuity Financial Partners. Marshall is passionate about educating people on financial literacy and preparing people for a successful financial future. The evening prior to the golf outing was spent enjoying a delightful dinner at The Butcher’s Block in Long Branch, where owner Tom D’Ambrisi and his general manager extended warm hospitality, making us feel like part of their family with a comprehensive tour of their establishment.
The golf outing itself was a resounding success. Participants enjoyed an 18-hole scramble, which was followed by a charming luncheon and awards ceremony in the clubhouse. Marshall graciously mingled with attendees, taking photos with award recipients and the main event sponsor, Brown’s Heating, Cooling, and Plumbing. A highlight was Marshall presenting an autographed official NFL Alumni Association Football to John Spottke, honoring his 20 years as the Golf Chairman for the Jersey Shore Chamber of Commerce.
